WHY TAURINE?

Taurine is a very important amino acid in the diet of cats. Unlike humans and almost all other animals, in fact, the feline organism is able to produce only small quantities which may be insufficient for its survival. For this reason it is essential that the amount of taurine naturally produced by the cat is enriched with that coming from its nutrition and, in particular, from the carnivorous part of the diet (in fact, vegetables do not have it).

When this does not happen, taurine deficiency can cause significant pathologies, especially affecting the eye and the heart system.
