Abrasive sponge for canine dental cleaning. Ensures deep cleaning of teeth and gums and facilitates the removal of plaque and tartar. How to use Before use, for operator hygiene, please wear disposable protective gloves (not included in the package). Gradually accustom the animal (possibly from a puppy) to manipulating the mouth, lifting the lips and massaging the teeth and gums with disposable gloves, eventually spreading an adequate amount of specific toothpaste. Repeat the operation for a few consecutive days. After this initial period, apply the two self-adhesive KELLY BRUSH sponges to the thumb and index finger of your hand, removing the protective paper placed on the back of each diesse. Apply the shortest sponge to the thumb and the longest to the index finger, adapting them to the shape of the finger. KELLY BRUSH sponges can be applied more easily on the fingers starting from the middle of the nails and covering the inside of the finger. In case of use on cats or very small dogs, it is possible to apply the sponge on a stick of appropriate size. After moistening the KELLY BRUSH sponges and applying an appropriate amount of the specific toothpaste on them, insert your thumb and index finger into the dog's mouth, always starting from the back, keeping the mouth closed and inserting the two fingers between the teeth and cheeks. Perform a gentle massage in an antero-posterior and supero-inferior direction, keeping the dog's head still with the other hand; Perform rotational movements around the canines with the fingertips coated with KELLY BRUSH. At the end of the manual it may be useful to reward the animal with a bite of food that it especially likes, to facilitate subsequent operations. Warnings Gloves and sponges should not be used on different animals, nor should they be recycled or washed for later reuse. If traces of blood are found on the sponges or glove after massage, consult your veterinarian.
